Congrats to Planet Labs on their pending launch of Flock-1 from ISS

Flock-1 is 33 cubesats with a visual imaging payload. From start-up to launch in 3 years and raising the kind of capital they did is no easy feat, I’m here to tell you. However, launching the satellites might be the easy part — dealing with the terabytes of data and finding customers willing to pay for the imagery when Google Earth has better resolution ain’t easy, I’m also here to tell you.

Presumably there’s a Flock-2 in the works. I wonder if it just replenishes Flock-1 as its orbit decays, or if it will provide different or additional capabilities?
