Another successful SpaceX launch

A SpaceX Falcon-9 rocket launched from Cape Canaveral and successfully put AsiaSat-8 into a geostationary transfer orbit early this morning (Pacific Coast Time). Anytime SpaceX does something right, it’s good for the entire launch industry because it is one day closer to the extinction of the legacy dinosaur launchers.

Here are all the details that are fit to print on the mission. Note that the AsiaSat was too heavy to recover the rocket — it had to use all its fuel to boost the satellite into its orbit.
