Rethinking international Space Law

A top-down approach may no longer be effective. The author basically argues that practices adopted by, say, NASA are adopted by other agencies/nations when they come upon the issues that NASA first addressed. The precludes the need for international treaties.

I think this is a better paradigm than the top-down approach, ala the Outer Space Treaties and the Moon Treaty, which try to regulate issues years before they become a problem. Still…there’s something about the article that nags at me, though I can’t quite put my finger on why. I may update this post later if it comes to me.
