Good overview of work being done for this year’s Falcon Heavy launch

Lots of manufacturing and assembling goodness at the link. We’ll definitely be live-blogging Falcon Heavy’s first launch.

Under the things-I’ve-been-wondering category, the article provides 2 answers:

  • The next Falcon 9 booster recover attempt will likely be CRS-6, which will launch some time in April — you know we’ll be live-blogging it.
  • The first booster recovery attempt for the Falcon Heavy won’t occur until sometime in 2016 — and you know we’ll be live-blogging that too.
