World View sets new record for altitude

Parafoil reaches 102,200 feet. That’s the height they intend to take passengers to, starting in 2016, for $75K.

While this test didn’t carry humans, it did carry two university science experiments — one to detect ozone, and one to test HD video technology at high altitudes.
