New window open to attempt to contact Philae

New bid to contact Europe’s comet probe. They’re going to try from today to 17 May to hear from Philae.

It’s location on the surface of the dusty iceball has been narrowed down to an area of about 30 by 50 metres (98 by 164 feet). But Rosetta’s cameras have not yet spotted the probe, and scientists don’t know if it is upright.

That’s because they’re still looking in the wrong place. C’mon, you can say it…you know you want to say it…”You’re right, Don.” There, that wasn’t so bad, was it?
