Rosetta ready for perihelion

Rosetta Team Troubleshoots Philae as Comet’s Activity ‘Heats Up’. They’ve moved Rosetta further out (170 to 190 km) because Chury’s tail has grown so thick:

They haven’t heard from Philae since 9 July, and suspect that part of the reason is that the lander is being jostled around by the venting of gas from the asteroid’s surface as it gets closer to the Sun.
