MUOS launch scrubbed until Wednesday

Per the ULA launch website:

Rocket/Payload: A United Launch Alliance Atlas V 551 will launch the U.S. Navy’s fourth Mobile User Objective System (MUOS-4) satellite, built by Lockheed Martin.

Date/Site/Launch Time: Wednesday, Sept. 2, from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida. The 44-minute launch window opens at 5:59 a.m. EDT.

Webcast: The live broadcast will begin at 5:39 a.m. EDT.

I have a friend who flew out this past weekend for the launch. I assume he’ll stay until launch, but you can burn up a lot of vacation time waiting for launches to go.

Currently, there’s a 60% chance that the weather will cooperate for launch on the 2nd.
